Donald Trump wins US presidential election

Trump has secured 277 electoral votes to defeat Kamala Harris, who has 224 votes, according to AP projections.

CNN has also projected Trump's victory.

Ex-President Trump is also in early lead in terms of the number of popular votes. According to AP, Trump has secured 65,220,076 votes (51.2%) while Harris trails with 60,802,707 votes (47.4%).

For NBC, Trump has secured 64,842,470 votes (51.2%), while Harris trails with 59,765,807 votes (47.2%).

Trump takes early lead in electoral college votes

Trump has taken an early lead in the electoral college votes, according to several projections.

For the AP, Trump has secured 230 electoral college votes while Kamala Harris trails with 210.

For the NBC, Trump has secured 246 electoral college votes while Kamala Harris trails with 189.

For CNN and CNN, Trump has secured 246 electoral college votes while Kamala Harris trails with 182.

Kamala Harris projected to win Nebraska district

The AP has reportedly called Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District for the Democratic Party.

Legit.ng gathers that this will give Harris one Electoral vote.

Trump projected to win North Carolina

Trump has been projected to win North Carolina. North Carolina is the first battleground state to be called by AP in the race, Al Jazeera reported.

First results out

The first result of the ongoing US presidential election has been announced. The voting in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire, resulted in a tie between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

Harris and Trump both secured three votes each.
