JUST IN: US President Biden told to immediately resign, details emerge

His recent debate performance and public appearances have raised concerns about his age and ability to serve another four years.

Biden's decision to step aside while remaining as president marks a significant turn in the election season. It follows a tumultuous few weeks in American politics, including an attempt on Trump's life during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

The election season has been unusually tumultuous, with both candidates facing challenges. After a disastrous debate performance, Biden attempted to salvage his candidacy but ultimately decided to step aside.

The Democratic nomination is uncertain, with no clear candidate to replace Biden.

Following President Biden's decision to step aside from the Democratic nomination, the delegates who previously pledged to support him are now free to vote for a different candidate.

This means that approximately 95% of delegates committed to supporting Biden after his success in the Democratic primaries can now choose an alternative nominee.
