Oyo State, Nigeria
Oyo is a state in southwestern Nigeria. It was formed from part of the Western Region in 1976. Oyo is bordered to the north by Kwara, to the east by Osun, to the southwest by Ogun and the Republic of Benin, and to the west by Ondo State.
