The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has received a letter of resignation from a former Governor of Ondo state, Dr Olusegun Mimiko. Mimiko resigned from the PDP, as he concluded arrangements to return to his former party, LP.
The Labour Party has distanced itself from a group that recently condemned the return of former governor of Ondo, Mimiko to the party. Mike Omotoso, the national chairman of the party said the return of Mimiko is worthwhile.
Some strong politicians including the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, the governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom among many other are also expected join the SDP.
