Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja refused to grant bail to Nnamdi Kanu, the head of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), on Tuesday.

Nnamdi Kanu's lawyer, Felix Okonkwo, has lost appeal against DSS at Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja on Monday, March 18. The court explained the appeal's dismissal.

Security operatives in Imo state, south-east Nigeria, said they have killed a suspected member of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Orlu.

The high court in Abuja, on Monday, February 26, adjourned the trial of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (MNK). Mazi Kanu is the leader of the pro-Biafra group, IPOB.

Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB leader and Biafra agitator, has rejigged his legal team. The defence team is now being led by P. A. M. Ejiofor, who replaced Mike Ozekhome (SAN).

The trial of the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has commenced at the Federal High Court, Abuja division. Photos of his arrival into the courtroom have surfaced online.
