The governor of Kebbi state, Nasir Idris, has assured that he would pay workers any figure the FG and the organised labour agreed as the new minimum wage.

The governor of Akwa Ibom state, Umo Eno, on Tuesday, June 18, said his government is willing to abide by any agreed minimum wage for workers in the state.

The presidency has urged organised labour to accept FG's proposed N62,000 minimum wage offer and warned that it cannot accept their unrealistic demand.

In a statement by the acting president of NLC, Prince Adewale Adeyanju, Labour noted that anything contrary to their demand of N250,000 would not be accepted.
