The Nigerian military has reacted to the reported death of the factionalleader of the Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, saying it is yet to receive such information.

Nigeria First concluded that the act is indeed the height of mischief that all well-meaning citizens must resist such insult on Nigerians by the individuals.

It is worrisome that the Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, has been reported dead five times in over a decade. Shekau seems to be getting undue publicity.

Many residents and passengers are stranded in Oshodi, Lagos state, as soldiers have taken over major places in the area to avenge the death of their colleague.

Security agencies in Nigeria according to reports are currently on alert over the reported killing of Abubakar Shekau, leader of the terrorists Boko Haram sect.

The information was disclosed by Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, who disclosed this after a state security meeting held at the Government House on Tuesday, May 18

The speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, on Monday, May 17, said that in the war against terrorism, Nigeria's military need more funds.
