Background

Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is a Nigerian entrance examination board for tertiary-level institutions. It is responsible for conducting the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for prospective undergraduates and the Direct Entry (DE) examination for prospective direct entry candidates.

The matriculation list is a list of candidates who have been admitted into various tertiary institutions in Nigeria. It is important that candidates confirm their names from the matriculation list as only candidates whose names are on this list are recognized as bonafide students from the various accredited institutions. By implication, if your name is not on this list, your application to the NYSC scheme for the one-year National service shall be declined.
