Yoruba activist, Mr. Sunday Igboho on Monday, January 25 declared that he will soon visit all the southwest states to issue quit notices to Fulani herdsmen.

Southwest states are on red alert following the expiration of the quit notice given to herders by Ondo Governor Rotimi Akeredolu. The notice expired on Sunday.

The decision was taken after the governors had a meeting with the leadership of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria on Monday, January 25.

Emerging report indicate that the police has not yet arrested Sunday Adeyemo, the youth leader who gave Fulani herdsmen quit notice in a community in Oyo state.

The MACBAN president said the recent order given by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state was not a new one but had been issued before now two years ago.

The scheduled meeting between members of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria and members of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) has started.
