The ministry of finance, budget and planning on Monday, December 30, said some civil servants in various ministries, agencies and departments have started receiving arrear payment of the approved minimum wage.

Federal workers in Nigeria would now face a compulsory competence assessment test to authenticate their qualifications, effectiveness and suitability for their jobs, the head of civil service, Winifred Oyo-Ita, has said.
