The Department of State Security (DSS) has quizzed controversial Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, over controversial comments he has been making about bandits

A singer, Ahmad Abdul, has tendered an apology to the entire Muslim community and the Kano state government over his song which was perceived as blasphemous.

Malam Tukur Mamu, the spokesperson for Ahmad Gumi, has absolved the Islamic cleric, of making incendiary statements regarding bandits operating in Nigeria.

The Department of State Services (DSS) has invited Sheik Ahmad Gumi. He was invited days after alleging that security operatives were conniving with bandits.

A Kano-based Islamic singer, Ahmad Abdul, arrested by the DSS for releasing a blasphemous song, has regained freedom. Abdul was released after showing remorse.

Governor Uzodimma noted that he appreciates the sacrifices and efforts of the operatives and that the government’s relationship with them is that of partners.

The Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev Father Mbaka, is in the news again over reports that he was recently invited to Abuja by the DSS.

The Department of State Services has been accused of inviting Catholic priest, Mbaka, for questioning in Abuja. Mbaka had previously asked Buhari to resign.
