The Academic Staff Union of University has suspended its eight-month-old industrial action conditionally, after a meeting of its National Executive Committee.

The meeting of the National Executive Council of the Academic Staff Union of Universities will hold overnight from Thursday, October 13 to Friday, October 14.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Friday, October 14, called off its strike. However, the union said its demands had not been fully addressed.
