Ghana is advocating for a unified currency to be used by ECOWAS members to facilitate fuel transportation from the Dangote Petroleum Refinery in Nigeria.

About seven of the nine expected vessels are set to berth in various ports in Lagos. The vessels reportedly carry petrol, diesel, crude oil and aviation fuel.
