David Moyes Finally Speaks Out On His Man United Exit

Former Manchester United manager, David Moyes has finally spoken on his sack at Old Trafford.

The Scot said he felt proud to have taken the team to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

The former Everton coach also stated that he understood fans' frustrations at the overall results he was able to achieve when he was at the helm of affairs. 

Moyes did not fail to express his gratitude to Sir Alex Ferguson for giving him the chance to manage Manchester United.

"During this period of transition, performances and results have not been what Manchester United and its fans are used to or expect, and I both understand and share their frustration. "I have always believed that a manager never stops learning during his career, and I know I will take invaluable experience from my time as United's manager.

"I remain proud to have led the team to the quarter-finals of this year's Champions League and I remain grateful to Sir Alex Ferguson for believing in my ability and giving me the chance to manage Manchester United," the statement read.

Moyes was sacked by United on Tuesday and former club captain, Ryan Giggs was appointed to replace him on a temporary basis.

There have been speculations that either of former Bayern Munich coach, Luis Van  Gaal and current Dortmund coach, Jurgen Klopp, could be appointed on a permanent basis soonest.
