Nigeria Moves Up In Latest FIFA Ranking

The Nigerian Men Football team, The Super Eagles have climbed up two places in the recent FIFA ranking and are now 45th in the world.

Nigeria now have 620 points, 4 points higher than the 616 points they had last month and are now the sixth strongest country in Africa as against the seventh position it had in March.

Nigeria surpassed Tunisia who went backwards nine spots and are now behind Cape verde.

The top African Team according to the FIFA ranking are Cote d’Ivoire, Egypt, Algeria, Ghana and Cape Verde who have 830, 798, 795, 713 and 665 points respectively.

Cote d’Ivoire meanwhile occupy the 21 position in the world scale while Egypt, Algeria, Ghana and Cape Verde occupy the 21st, 24th, 38th and 42nd position repectively.

Spain retain their number one spot followed closely Germany, Portugal, Colombia, and Uruguay.
