On January 5, Mohamed Salah joined an elite group of players after scoring in Liverpool's 2-2 draw against Manchester United. The goal marked Salah’s 18th in the current campaign and his 175th overall in the Premier League, putting him level with Arsenal legend Thierry Henry in the all-time scorers’ chart.
Salah now sits in joint-seventh place on the all-time list, just two goals behind Frank Lampard. Additionally, he has cemented his place in Liverpool’s history as the third-highest scorer for the club, with 232 goals in 376 games.
3. Cole Palmer’s First-Half Scoring Record
On September 28, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer delivered a historic performance, becoming the first player in Premier League history to score four goals in the first half of a match.
Palmer’s remarkable goals came in the 21st, 28th, 31st, and 41st minutes during Chelsea’s dominant display against Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge. The four-goal spree, spanning just 19 minutes and 57 seconds, will be remembered as one of the most electrifying performances of the season.
4. Spurs End Manchester City’s Unbeaten Home Streak
November 23 was a night to forget for Manchester City as Tottenham Hotspur delivered a stunning 4-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium. This marked the end of City’s incredible 52-match unbeaten home run in all competitions and a personal low point for Pep Guardiola, who suffered five consecutive losses for the first time in his managerial career.
