Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has fired a warning at Marcus Rashford and his players after two straight defeats.

The Red Devils lost twice in a week in the Premier League, which dealt a blow to their Champions League hopes.

Things could get worse for Amorim and the Red Devils as they head into a difficult run with tough matches.

Amorim's warning to Rashford

Man United lost to Nottingham Forest 3-2 on Saturday, days after Arsenal beat them at the Emirates.

Andre Onana, Bruno Fernandes, and Lisandro Martinez were at fault for the three goals they conceded on Saturday. The result leaves them 13th in the Premier League with 19 points after 15 games.

After the loss to Arsenal defeat, Rashford walked towards the tunnel while his teammates shared a moment with the travelling fans. Amorim stressed the importance of applauding the fans, especially when they lose.

“Of course, we have to do it, especially when we lose. Not when we win, when we lose," the said via Football365. “We’re going to do that and everybody has to do it. It’s going to be like that.”

Man United face Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League and Manchester City in their next two games.

Amorim told to copy Enzo Maresca

Legit.ng earlier reported that Gary Neville told Amorim to follow Enzo Maresca's strategy of managing his squad.

The former defender is not convinced by Amorim's style of making constant changes to the squad, which he believes affects the consistency and chemistry.
