- Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has said Moises Caicedo is on the same level as Declan Rice and Rodri
- The Arsenal and Manchester City midfielders have been the two best players in their position in the Premier League
- Caicedo is the fourth most expensive player in Premier League history and has improved immensely after a poor start
Enzo Maresca has praised Moises Caicedo, comparing him to Arsenal's Declan Rice and Ballon d'Or winner Rodri.
The Ecuadorian joined the Blues last year, but had a disastrous debut season. However, he has been one of the Blues' top performers this season.
Caicedo featured in 35 league games for the Blues last season but was heavily criticised for his poor performances. This season, he has started all 14 Chelsea league games.
Maresca compares Caicedo to tice, Rodri
Rodri's outstanding efforts for club and country have resulted in Premier League crowns, Champions League victories, a European Champions Cup with Spain, and a Ballon d'Or.
Rice, on the other hand, helped Arsenal make a credible title campaign last season and has played regularly for Arteta and England.
Meanwhile, Caicedo had a dismal first season at Chelsea, but is now beginning to play like the fourth most expensive footballer in Premier League history, per Transfermarkt.
Maresca believes his midfielder is on the same level as Rodri and Rice.
“He is for sure now at that level," Maresca explained per Football London. "No doubt. Unfortunately, Rodri is injured but Declan is playing. But I think Moises can sit at that table with that kind of midfielder.”
The midfielder is expected to start on Sunday, December 8 against Tottenham Hotspur.
Drogba provides solution to Arsenal's corner kick hack
Legit.ng in another report disclosed that Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba has provided Premier League clubs with the solution to Arsenal's corner kick hack in England.
The Gunners have been the most successful team in converting corner kicks to goals in England after netting 22 times since the start of last season.
Arsenal made headlines in mid-week after scoring both their goals against Manchester United via corners and Drogba believes the best solution to stop the Gunners is always to put a marker in front of the corner taker.
