- Manchester United will face Arsenal in the FA Cup as the Red Devils hope to retain the title they won last season

- Other fixtures include Manchester City vs Salford, Liverpool vs Accrington Stanley, and Chelsea play Morecambe
Manchester United have been handed the worst possible start to their FA Cup title defence after they drew Arsenal in the third round draw on Monday.
The Red Devils will travel to their Premier League rivals next year as they seek to retain a title they won against all odds last season.
Despite finishing eighth in the Premier League table under Erik ten Hag, the Dutchman led United to a memorable 2-1 victory over Manchester City in last season's final.
Arsenal vs Manchester United
Ten Hag has since been sacked, with Ruben Amorim taking over as the head coach. The draw means that the Portuguese manager will face the Gunners at least thrice this season.

The first instalment of that tie will be on Wednesday when they head to the Emirates. Mikel Arteta's side are second on the log with 25 points, while United are further back in ninth with 19 points.
Manchester United's fixtures after FA Cup draw
The FA Cup tie will be held on January 11, posing an interesting run of fixtures for Amorim. They play Newcastle on December 30 before going to Anfield on January 5. Six days later, they play Arsenal in the FA Cup in North London.
Ashley Young to face his son
The standout fixture of the third-round draw is obviously the Manchester United vs. Arsenal game. Manchester City will play Saford, while Chelsea will entertain Morecambe. League leaders Liverpool will face Accrington Stanley, while Tottenham travels to Tamworth.
The other notable fixture is Everton drawing Peterborough. The game could see Ashley Young face his 18-year-old son, Tyler Young.
Why Arsenal are above Chelsea
