Joseph Paintsil celebrated his MLS Western Conference victory by jamming to his just-released song.
Prior to Sunday's MLS Western Conference final, the player and artist released a new album titled Blessing.
Paintsil was instrumental in helping the Los Angeles Galaxy upset the Seattle Sounders and get to the Major League Soccer finals in 2024.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Paintsil had a great time after the victory, dancing with his teammates to the song, one that has the potential to become a hit in and around Ghana.
Paintsil and his teammates, who are just one game from becoming MLS champions, will face the New York Red Bulls, winners of the Eastern Conference, in the MLS final on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
Paintsil joined the American soccer club in February after an excellent spell in Belgium with KRC Genk. Since moving to the United States.
Paintsil has scored 13 goals in the MLS, 10 in the regular season, and three in the playoffs, per Transfermarkt.
Paintsil eyes MLS title
Paintsil looks poised for the MLS final against the New York Red Bulls after playing a key role in both the regular season and playoffs for LA Galaxy.
The 26-year-old winger will be expected to be the star man for David Beckham's former team who will be without Riqui Puig out with an injury.
"We did it. Western Conference Champions. Eyes on the next one," he posted on social media.
Eguavoen invites 30 players for Ghana game
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Augustine Eguavoen has invited 30 players to Nigeria's camp for the forthcoming 2025 African Championship qualifiers against West African rivals Ghana.
The tournament, which is reserved mainly for players plying their trade in their respective countries, will see the CHAN Eagles battle in the final lap of the qualifiers.
