Liverpool have taken a commanding lead in the Premier League after 12 matches, but Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has warned the Reds.
Arne Slot's side are eight points clear after 12 matches, winning 10 of their matches, and will be looking to make it 11 when they host Manchester City in a mouth-watering clash on Sunday.
The Merseyside club are looking for their first league title since 2020, and their new boss is seeking to do it in his first campaign.
Liverpool's title challenge
Manchester City won an unprecedented fourth straight league title last season, but it looks like a fifth won't be coming to the Etihad this season.

Liverpool were contenders last season but slipped up towards the end, allowing Pep Guardiola's side to battle it out with Arsenal. The Gunners also slipped up, handing Man City another title.
This campaign, the Reds have made a sensational start and will have to maintain that momentum throughout the season, with Arsenal and Man City lurking.
They face a limping Man City this weekend looking to strengthen their grip on top of the Premier League. They are favourites to win at Anfield against a Man City side that lost 4-0 at home to Tottenham Hotspur.
Arteta warns Liverpool
Arteta said the Gunners can overturn Liverpool's advantage, but it will be difficult. He also said Liverpool need to be exceptional to maintain their lead.
“Well, yes, we’ve been there,” Arteta said via Metro Sports. “To sustain [a lead] for ten months is extremely difficult. Everything has to go your way. And sadly, when you think you have it, one day, plop, it collapses."
“It could be through a result, injuries, or other decisions—it can happen at any moment. We have to be ready for that. But again, it’s something we don’t control. What we can control is what we do, and we have to do that to the best of our ability.”
Arsenal are looking for their first Premier League title in 20 years and have tried and failed to end their drought in the last two seasons.
Arsenal told to sign Isak
Legit.ng earlier reported that Arsenal has been urged by former player Alan Smith to sign Newcastle United frontman Alexander Isak to boost their chances of winning the Premier League title after two decades.
The Gunners have failed in their bid to win the trophy they last lifted in 2004 and have finished as runners-up behind Manchester City in the last two seasons.
