The Argentina international has registered eight goals and four assists in 20 matches this season. He is on track to surpass his 2023/24 numbers of 10 goals and five assists in 50 appearances, per Transfermarkt.

Garnacho's message to critics
After helping Ruben Amorim secure his first win, Garnacho received some criticism online for shooting instead of passing.
Garnacho shared a defiant message on Instagram following weeks of criticism.
"I will keep doing my things," Ganarcho wrote on Instagram.
The 20-year-old has played in both games under Amorim and has performed when needed. Erik ten Hag and Ruud van Nistelrooy trusted him, meaning he is a key member of the squad.
Under Amorim, he will have to solidify his spot amid the competition with Marcus Rashford and Antony.
Why Garnacho refused to celebrate goal
Legit.ng earlier reported that Garnacho caused a stir after the Manchester United youngster refused to celebrate his astonishing goal against Leicester City.
The winger's muted celebration received backlash from some Red Devils fans including club legend Roy Keane who made known his true feelings.
Fernandes later explained that Garnacho refused to celebrate because he had lost support from some fans.

Legit.ng also reported that Garnacho was displeased with the actions of an aggrieved Manchester United fan who confronted him outside Old Trafford to scold him.
The angry fan told the 20-year-old forward to "pass better" and "improve his first touch", a message Garnacho did not take to heart as he ignored the supporter and made his way inside the stadium.
Garnacho has faced numerous criticism after underwhelming performances, with many saying the forward hasn't progressed at all.
