The former Sporting CP will coach his first game this weekend against Ipswich away from home.
Rashford reacts to Amorim training
Rashford was among the Man United players who seemed to enjoy Amorim's first training session. Only 10 senior players were available for Monday's session.
The winger shared a photo on his Instagram story with the words "top session today" The 27-year-old was not the only player who enjoyed the session.
Veteran midfielder Casemiro also wrote "top training" on his Instagram. The two players will likely start on Sunday. The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last four matches since Erik ten Hag's dismissal.
Casemiro and Rashford were regulars under former boss Erik ten Hag, but Amorim's style could make them work harder for their spot.
They are 13th in the Premier League after 11 games but are only four points off the top four.
