Ghana head coach Otto Addo found himself in a tense exchange with a sports journalist following the Black Stars’ shocking defeat to Niger, which officially ended their 2025 AFCON qualification hopes on Monday, November 18.
The 49-year-old coach faced intense scrutiny after what has been labelled as one of the most dismal periods in Ghanaian football history.

In a related report, Legit.ng shared that Otto Addo promptly approached Mohammed Kudus to offer comfort after the West Ham United midfielder missed a crucial penalty in Ghana’s AFCON qualifier loss to Niger.
Kudus had the chance to equalise in the final moments of the match after earning a penalty.
In a video circulating on social media, Addo is seen rushing onto the pitch to console the distraught player.
