Supercomputer Predicts Final Premier League Table After Arsenal, Man City Slip Ups

The 2024/25 Premier League campaign has been a spectacle.

Liverpool open gap

Liverpool have made an unexpectedly brilliant start to the season with nine wins from 11 matches. They face Man City in early December and could put themselves in a commanding position ahead of the Christmas schedule.

Meanwhile, the defending champions suffered their fourth straight defeat in all competitions on Saturday after losing to a spirited Brighton side.

The Gunners, who lost the Premier League title by two points last season, are fourth with 19 points. Chelsea are third with 19, as are Nottingham Forest and Brighton.

Supercomputer Premier League prediction

Opta's supercomputer gave Liverpool a 60.3% chance of winning their second Premier League crown, per Sky Sports. Their chances have steadily increased in the last few weeks.

Pep Guardiola's Man City are now second favourite to win the league. They have been given a 34.3% chance.

Arsenal, seeking their first league title in 20 years, have been given a 4.98% chance, while Chelsea has a 0.32% chance.

Man City has won the last four Premier League titles and could win five in a row, a new milestone for the Citizens. Slot is looking to lead Liverpool to their second Premier League title but is remaining cautious.

"If I look at the games that are ahead, they are tough. It will be a tough season in general. Margins are small, we have a margin, but it is small. Many challenges to come for us," Slot said via Liverpool.com.

Guardiola on Premier League title

TUKO.co.ke earlier reported that Guardiola appeared to concede the 2024/25 Premier League title after Man City's loss to Brighton.

The former Barcelona tactician claimed that maybe another team deserved to win the title, hinting that Liverpool could be the winner come May 2025.
