Marcus Rashford showcased a brilliant piece of skill during Wednesday night's Europa League match between Manchester United and FC Twente, and it's hard to look away.

In the 32nd minute at Old Trafford, Rashford faced off one-on-one with former Norwich striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel.

After keeping the ball in play, the 26-year-old forward pulled off a flawless elastico through Van Wolfswinkel's legs, followed by a precise pass to Lisandro Martinez.

Although Martinez couldn't find the target, it didn't diminish the brilliance of Rashford's skill.

Rashford delivered an electrifying performance that will surely make Erik ten Hag reconsider leaving him out in the future.

In his 79 minutes on the pitch at Old Trafford, Rashford recorded 49 touches and completed 25 of 33 attempted passes, achieving a pass accuracy of 76%. Notably, two of those passes were key contributions.

United held by FC Twente

Manchester United were left frustrated after a 1-1 draw against FC Twente in their 2024/25 Europa League opener.

According to the BBC, Christian Eriksen opened the scoring with a brilliant finish 10 minutes before halftime.

However, United's defensive lapse allowed Sam Lammers to equalise for the Dutch side, leaving Old Trafford disappointed.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Erik ten Hag addressed Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp's comments, where Redknapp hinted that Rashford might have done something to warrant starting on the bench against Crystal Palace.

Despite scoring a brace in Manchester United’s midweek win over Barnsley, the England international was left on the bench in their 0-0 draw with the Seagulls.
