However, according to former teammate Roy Keane, there’s still one thing the 39-year-old does better than anyone else in the world.

Keane applauded Ronaldo's remarkable career and ongoing talent, as the Portuguese forward hit a significant milestone in his country’s Nations League clash against Croatia earlier this week.

The Al Nassr star netted the second goal in Portugal's 2-1 win in Lisbon, but this goal stood out from many others.

It marked Ronaldo’s 900th career goal and his 131st for Portugal, a stark contrast to his dry spell at Euro 2024, where he failed to score. Prior to this, Ronaldo had always found the net in every major tournament he played in—until his scoreless run in Germany.

And speaking on ITV Sport, via TalkSPORT, after the Nations League match, Keane was asked whether that lack of impact at the Euros was a concern.

"That was a bit of an issue," he admitted.
"But (he's reached) 900 goals," he reminded viewers, pointing to the scale of the achievement.

"If you put the ball in those areas he's still the best in the world," added Keane, referring to Ronaldo's incredible ability in front of the net.

As the international window closes and club football resumes, the 39-year-old will now focus on helping Al-Nassr continue their strong run of form.
