Referee. Daniel Laryea, a Ghanaian official, has also shared his thoughts on the team's performance, making it clear where he stands on the matter.

Referee Laryea on Ghana’s AFCON outing

In a conversation with Sports Brief, the 36-year-old CAF licensed referee shared his perspective on his country's AFCON campaign.

When asked if Ghana's exit from the AFCON saddened him, he responded:

"Though I am Ghanaian, of course, we want the best. We are the majority of the team, and we aspire to go far. However, other teams prepared very well for the competition, and they are still here.

Well, for me, it was disheartening, but we are here, and I have to focus on my job as a referee."

The sentiments expressed by the 36-year-old seem to echo the feelings of many Ghanaians as they strive to move past the disappointments of the AFCON and concentrate on the team's future.

In an effort to overcome their AFCON setbacks, the Ghanaian FA has already proposed a friendly match with the Argentine National team scheduled for the next international window.

Sports Brief in another report stated that a Ghanaian journalist has voiced his frustration with the Black Stars after their elimination from the AFCON.

Well-known football expert Nuhu Adams didn't mince his words when discussing Chris Hughton's team, and he was captured on camera expressing his dissatisfaction with what he perceived as a disappointing performance on the night.
