Ronaldo, who joined Al Nassr in December 2022 after terminating his contract with Manchester United, finished the Arab Cup of Champions as the best scorer, scoring six times, and he currently has 20 goals and three assists in 25 appearances for Al Nassr.
Ronaldo in disbelief with MOTM award
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo was surprised that despite scoring a game-winning brace, he was not named Man of the Match in the Arab Club Champions Cup final, Sport Bible reports.
Ronaldo scored both Al Nassr goals, one in the 71st minute to tie the game and another in extra time to clinch the victory despite the team playing with ten men after defender Abdulelah Al-Amri was sent off.
Following this amazing performance, Ronaldo was stunned to learn that Al Hilal midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic had won the MOTM award ahead of him for the final, with the Portugal legend seen in bewilderment pointing a two up to one of the event organisers.
Cup was rigged for Ronaldo
There was a conspiracy to have Cristiano Ronaldo win the Arab Club Champions Cup as this is the belief of some football fans, who have claimed the tournament was rigged in favour of the Portuguese veteran.
Ronaldo, in a solo display of skill and determination, propelled the Knights of Najd to their inaugural victory in the history of the tournament against rivals, Al-Hilal.
His brace secured a remarkable come-from-behind triumph against the fellow Saudi Arabian club on August 12.
