Frank Lampard who is the manager of Chelsea has expressed happiness over the brilliant performance of Nigerian eligible winger Noni Madueke in their Premier League defeat against Arsenal.

Noni Madueke nets for Chelsea

In the 65th minute, Noni Madueke pulled one goal back for Chelsea, but it was not enough to save the Blues from suffering a defeat.

According to the report on Naija Footballer, Lampard made it clear that Noni Madueke will get more opportunities in his squad.

A statement made by Lampard

''If I want to talk about an individual, I might be talking about Noni who scored the goal, came in, and played like he's been training and that's a good example. He will get more opportunities.''

Madueke is of Nigerian Igbo descent and was born in Barnet.

Chelsea would be facing relegation
