Ronaldo Snubbed As Messi, Mbappe Included in IFFHS 2022 Men’s World Team
- Cristiano Ronaldo's nightmarish 2022 has transcended into the New Year
- The 37-year-old Portuguese, who became the highest-paid footballer after joining Al-Nassr, missed out on the 2022 Men's World Team
- Meanwhile, archenemy Lionel Messi earned a deserved spot in the Dream XI after helping Argentina to World Cup glory
The 2022 Men's World Football Team has been revealed by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
As expected, players who impressed at the 2022 World Cup including tournament best player Lionel Messi and Golden Boot winner Kylian Mbappe starred on the list.
The 2022 dream XI however witnessed a conspicuous absentee in the shape of Al-Nassr's new signing Cristiano Ronaldo, who had a calendar year to forget after an abysmal World Cup and an acrimonious exit at Man United.
