En-Nesyri was the man of the moment for the Atlas Lions during their quarter-final meeting with Portugal on Saturday.
Morocco, who have enjoyed a sensational run in the ongoing tournament, sunk Ronaldo's Portugal 1-0 to become the first African country to reach the World Cup semis.

En-Nesyri rose the highest to meet Yahya Attiat-Allah’s brilliant cross, which he headed home to hand his side the lead.

En-Nesyri goal breaks Ronaldo's record
It has now emerged that beyond helping the North Africans book a historic spot in the World Cup semis, En-Nesysri also achieved a landmark milestone.
According to Goal, the Sevilla attacker's goal has shattered Ronaldo's record for the highest-headed goal.
The publication reports that the Moroccan star jumped an incredible 2.78m to meet the cross, higher than Ronaldo's iconic header for Juventus against Sampdoria back in December 2019, which was a little over 2.5 metres.
Meanwhile, the Atlas Lions will now be hoping to overcome holders France in the semis to reach the tournament final.
