Lionel Scaloni's formation

Lionel is a strict perfectionist. He believes in hard work and prefers playing with the 4-4-2 formation. The formation features four defenders at the back, two deep defensive midfielders, two attacking midfielders, and two attackers.

According to the formation dynamic, the two attacking midfielders play as wingers when attacking. One of the two strikers drops into the midfield to pick up the ball.
