Guardiola offers advice to Barcelona's hierarchy
Speaking to the media ahead of his side's pre-season fixture against Barcelona, the Spanish manager urged patience for his German counterpart.
As reported by Tribuna.com, Manchester City coach stated:
"Hansi knows that it takes time, and I wish him luck," Guardiola said.
"I hope for the best. As a member of the football community, I feel entitled to share my opinion. He is an exceptional person, and as a coach, he has demonstrated his abilities and led an outstanding season.
"It's a matter of giving him time, which we coaches are accustomed to. I wish him success, just as I do for all the coaches Barcelona has had and will have," Pep added.
While patience is generally a prudent approach for any club adjusting to a new manager, Barcelona's situation is more urgent. The La Liga powerhouse are in desperate need of results, especially given their financial difficulties.
According to a report courtesy of ESPN, the Catalan club are currently facing a financial deficit exceeding €130 million. Achieving significant results on the field could be one of the quickest ways to alleviate this financial strain.

The Polish striker emphasised that both he and his teammates are fully prepared to rise to the challenge for the upcoming season.
