The Red Devils finished with a negative goal difference in a forgettable season, in the 2023/24 Premier League season, and their first signing was Bologna striker, Zirkzee.

With Raphael Varane leaving, Yoro was brought to replace the World Cup winner. Despite having a difficult season, they ended with an FA Cup trophy.
The club has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Manuel Ugarte, Bayern Munich defender, Matthijs De Ligt and his teammate Noussair Mazraoui.
Scholes on Man United transfers
The legendary midfielder feels the club needs to add a reliable and proven centre-forward to help with
“When I think about Manchester United, I think about brilliant centre-forwards,” Scholes said via Football365.
“I think they’ve had one young one last year in Rasmus Hojlund who they have had to rely on and it was a little bit unfair. He’s a young player, still learning the game.
“They’ve bought another young one [Zirkzee]… I would like to see an experienced centre-forward come and help with that and virtually guarantee goals."
Rasmus Hojlund was Man United's top scorer last season, with 16 goals. Three other players also hit double digits in goals.
The club hired their former striker Ruud van Nistelrooy to their staff to help strikers improve their game.
Man United injury scare
Legit.ng also reported that Man United stars Rasmus Hojlund and Lenny Yoro suffered injury scares during their friendly match against Arsenal.
The Danish striker was substituted minutes after opening the scoring, while Yoro was hooked 17 minutes later.
