Al-Ittihad and France veteran N'Golo Kante has been linked with a surprise return to the Premier League following an impressive Euro 2024.

The midfielder, who moved to the Saudi Pro League last season, has been linked with West Ham.

The 33-year-old joined a long list of players from European stars in Saudi Arabia and signed a four-year deal.

The Frenchman was at one point one of the best midfielders in the world. He was part of the Leicester City team that won the Premier League title in 2016.

Despite all those highs, his career in the last few years has been plagued by injuries, especially at Chelsea.

His international career was thought to be over, but he bounced back at the just concluded European Championships in Germany. Didier Deschamps played him in every match as they reached the semi-final.

N'Golo Kante to EPL?

According to The Guardian, West Ham are looking to sign the midfielder from Al-Ittihad. The report adds that talks are ongoing between the two clubs, and a deal is possible.

West Ham's new coach, Julen Lopetegui, is a big fan of the Frenchman and tried to sign him when he was Real Madrid's manager.

The defensive midfielder is reportedly happy in Saudi Arabia but is reportedly open to returning to London. He was recently asked about his career in Europe, per 90min.
