Spanish outfit Valencia have handed manager Javi Gracia his sack letter following their woeful performance during the season, the club confirmed in a statement.
They slip to within six points to the drop zone in the La Liga and this is coming a day after the lost to Catalan club Barcelona.
It was their sixth consecutive league game without a win, leaving the team in 14th position in the standings, six above 18th-placed Huesca with four games left.
Following the drastic decision, a caretaker coach in person of long-serving employee Voro will take charge for the seventh time on interim basis.
Gracia, who said after the defeat to Spanish giants Barcelona that he "could not be any more worried" about the team's predicament, is the 11th coach the club has parted ways with in the last nine years.
