Tottenham Set to Appoint Top German Manager as Replacement for Jose Mourinho

Premier League club Tottenham reportedly want RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann to replace Jose Mourinho who was sacked on Monday, April 20

SunSport are reporting that Spurs will do everything possible to land Nagelsmann before the summer — although the 33-year-old is under contract for two years.

After 17 months in charge, Mourinho was kicked out at the club, a move which comes barely six days before their Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.

Ex-Charlton manager Chris Powell along with former Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason have been told to take charge of the game at Wembley.

It was gathered that the pair are yet to be told they will be in charge until the end of the season as the club continues to search for Mourinho’s replacement.

They are in seventh position on the Premier League standings and at risk of missing out on a place in the top four.

There were insinuations that the former Manchester United manager had fallen out with the club over their role in the proposed European Super League.
