Former Man United and Current PSG Superstar Blasts Those Interested in New European Super League

Former Manchester United star Ander Herrera who now plays for Paris Saint-Germain has kicked against the proposals of some clubs forming the European Super League.
Some clubs in the Premier League and other parts of Europe have come together to break away from the Champions League which has been on ground for years.
The Champions League is the biggest competition in Europe considering the level of competition it bring every season.
While making his comment on social media, Ander Herrara explained that forming the European Super League would be a disaster for football and those who are spending big.
"I fell in love with popular football, with the football of the fans, with the dream of seeing the team of my heart compete against the greatest.
"If this European Super League advances, those dreams are over, the illusions of the fans of the teams that are not giants of being able to win on the field competing in the best competitions will end.
"I love football and cannot remain silent about this. I believe in an improved Champions League, but not in the rich stealing what the people created, which is nothing other than the most beautiful sport on the planet."

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how latest reports have it that all 12 football clubs who announced their breakaway competition have all left their positions at the UEFA and the European Clubs Association (ECA).
The clubs consist of Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Manchester City, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Barcelona, Manchester United, Juventus, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and AC Milan.
Such idea has received widespread condemnation and UEFA has vowed to use "all measures" possible to stop the "cynical project".
