Match-week 31 had some interesting results in the Premier League as leaders Man City faltered in their title chase following a shock 2-1 defeat in the hands of the Leeds United.

City went on to restore parity with 15 minutes left on the clock, only for Stuart Dallas to strike late to earn Leeds all the three points.

The win opened a seven-point advantage over Leicester who are placed third with 56 points following their defeat to West Ham United.

West Ham staged a spirited performance at home on Sunday, April 11, to stun the Foxes, with United loanee Jesse Lingard scoring a brace in their 3-2 win.

The victory sent the Hammers to fourth on the log with 55 points, one ahead of Chelsea who demolished Crystal Palace 4-1 in their own fixture.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Arsenal returned to the top half with a 3-0 win over basement boys, Sheffield United, and are now ninth on the charts with 45 points, 10 off a four place.

In other fixtures of the week, Allan Saint-Maxin came off the bench to fire Newcastle to victory, with the win relieving relegation pressure off the Magpiece.

Fulham suffered a blow in their survival journey following their defeat to Wolves, and currently sit in the drop zone alongside West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United who, but all look set to be relegated.
