Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has sent his Man United wards a rallying call ahead of their meeting with Tottenham Hotspur.
United are scheduled to battle Spurs during a Premier League encounter set for Sunday, April 11, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Red Devils will be desperate to avenge their 6-1 mauling in the hands of Jose Mourinho's men earlier in the season at Old Trafford.
And speaking ahead of the rematch, Solskjaer has asked his players to give the ultimate sacrifice as he looks to close gap on rivals and league leaders Man City.
The Norwegian went on to warn United is no place for any player not ready to give their all on the pitch as the season's hits the homestretch.
“Players have to really take that on with the sacrifices they have to make and the work they have to do," Mirror UK quoted Ole saying.
“Blood, sweat and tears have to be put down because this is the best league in the world – and the most difficult," he added.
Last season, the Red Devils sealed a place in the Champions League with a win over Leicester City on the final day of the campaign.
However, Solskjaer has maintained he is keen to clinch a second place convincingly rather than face another dogfight in the final days of the campaign.
“There have been seasons when we’ve been fifth, sixth or seventh. So if we can get a good second place, not just scrape into it at the end of the season but have a good finish, then we will go into the next one with hopes we can go even further and do even better," he noted.
A win at the north London will see the Old Trafford dwellers narrow the gap between them and City to 11 points with another game in hand to play.
