Chelsea on Saturday evening, April 10, returned to winning ways in the Premier League beating Crystal Palace 4-1 win Christian Pulisic netting brace for the Stamford Bridge landlords.
Christian Pulisic has now scored four goals in his last four games for club and country which is an incredible one for the American professional footballer.
Having lost their last Premier League game at home, Chelsea players went for redemption against Crystal Palace which they got in an emphatic style.
Kai Havertz scored the first goal for Chelsea in the 8th minute thanks to a brilliant assist from Callum Hudson-Odoi which gave the Blues the lead.
Havertz then provided the assist two minutes later for Christian Pulisic to double Chelsea's lead.
Chelsea made sure that they scored their third goal before the end of the first half through Kurt Zouma who got an assist from Mason Mount.
The hosts pulled one back in the 63rd minute through Christian Benteke who benefited from an assist by Jeffrey Schlupp.
However, Christian Pulisic scored his second goal in the 78th minute to give Chelsea a comfortable win in the Premier League game.
Chelsea are occupying fourth position on the Premier League table with 54 points after 31 games played.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel explained that the Blues have had great results even without their top scorer Tammy Abraham so far this season.
Abraham has fallen down the pecking order at the Stamford Bridge since the arrival of the German tactician who took over from Frank Lampard.
Tuchel prefers Kai Harvertz and Timo Werner to play in the club’s attack most times, while Olivier Giroud also gets minutes.
Meanwhile, following his loan move to Turkish Super Lig side Kasimpasa in January, Chelsea star Danny Drinkwater has stated that he still has unfinished business with the Blues.
The former Leicester City midfielder left Stamford Bridge just before Frank Lampard was ousted by the Chelsea board and replaced by Thomas Tuchel.
Since leaving the Foxes in 2017, Drinkwater has only managed to play 28 matches in total as his career has been plagued with several off-field issues.
