AFCON 2022 qualifier: Gernot Rohr makes 4 changes to starting XI that will face Lesotho
Alex Iwobi has been named in Gernot Rohr's starting XI ahead of the Super Eagles final Group L game at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
Oghenekaro Etebo was also given the nod by the German tactician with the likes of Tyronne Ebuehi, and Francis Uzoho also making the cut.
With Uzoho replacing Maduka Okoye in goal, the defensive pair of Leon Balogun and William Troost-Ekong have been left unchanged as Ebuehi and Zaidu Sanusi will play at the wing-backs.
Joe Aribo have been left on the bench as Etebo will pair Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi in the heart of the midfield.
Samuel Chukwueze maintained his right-wing position while Iwobi displaced Henry Onyekuru on the left flank.
Kelechi Iheanacho and Victor Osimhen will spearhead the attack while the hero in Benin Paul Onuachu has been left on teh bench.
The three-time African champions will be looking to finish the group on a high after confirming their place in next year's AFCON tournament in Cameroon.
