Football lovers and sports reporters have been barred from the Super Eagles training by coach Gernot Rohr as the three-time African champions are currently preparing for the tie against Benin
Super Eagles of Nigeria started their training at the Teslim Balogun stadium in Lagos on Tuesday, March 23 with more than 15 players available for the show.
Fans and reporters were allowed to enter the Teslim Balogun stadium on Tuesday to watch the training of the Super Eagles, but they won't be permitted again going forward.
According to the report on Complete Sports, Gernot Rohr wants his players to be training behind closed doors before their game against Benin in Porto Novo.
Saturday’s match at the Charles de Gaulle Stadium in Porto-Novo will kick off by 5pm as Nigeria lead the qualifying group with eight points, while Benin are a point behind.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Super Eagle of Nigeria will this coming Friday be traveling by waterways to Porto Novo for their coming game against Benin Republic in a 2022 African Cup of Nations qualifying encounter.
Gernot Rohr and his players have already started training at the Teslim Balogun stadium in Lagos ahead of the two big encounters they have this month.
According to the information provided by respected sports reporter Godwin Enakhena, Amaju Pinnick who is the president of the Nigerian Football Federation has concluded all arrangements for the to travel on water.

However, the Super Eagles will spend the night in Cotonou on Friday, March 26, and they will return to Porto Novo on Saturday for the battle against the host nation.
Super Eagles will return to Lagos on Sunday where they will start another preparation for their game against Lesotho at the Teslim Balogun stadium.
