Paul Onuachu has continued to be a strong contender for the European Golden Boot as he scored his 26th league goal of the season.
Genk were 2-0 winners against Cercle Brugge over the weekend and the Nigerian international opened in the scoring in the match.
After nine minutes of the match played, the lanky striker was set up by Theo Bongonda to score the opener.

Junya Ito doubled the advantage for the host in the 25th minute and there were no further goals in the match.
Genk are third in the Jupiler League behind leaders Club Brugge and Royal Antwerp with six games left to play.
The Nigerian international is still ranked above the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe in the race for who becomes the highest goalscorer in Europe.
Ronaldo is currently on 20 goals while Messi has scored 19 and Paris Saint-Germain striker Mbappe is on 18 goals so far.
Only Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski has scored more goals than Onuanchu in Europe this season after taking his tally to 31 when he scored a hat-trick against Dortmund at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that prolific Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu is in the race to win the European golden boot at the end of this season.
The 26-year-old Super Eagles forward has scored 22 goals in 25 Belgian Pro League games for Genk this campaign.
Though he failed to register a goal in the group stages of the Champion League, the attacker ranks above five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
