The Blues are scheduled to host United on Sunday, February 28, in a Premier League cracker both teams will be desperate to win.

Chelsea head into the tie off an impressive run of results that has seen them go eight matches without defeat across competitions.

The side has picked an encouraging 14 points in six domestic games under Thomas Tuchel, with two of the six ending in draws.

Their last league outing ended in a disappointing 1-1 stalemate with Southampton at St Mary's, before they bounced back to winning ways against Atletico Madrid.

But with just two points separating them in fifth with fourth-placed West Ham, they will be keen to cart home all three points against the Red Devils to increase their chances of earning a Champions League spot at the end of the season.

However, they will be wary of a United side who have been spectacular on the road, with the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer-tutored team yet to suffer defeat away from home in the EPL.

It is for this reason Berbatov is predicting a closely contested affair at Stamford Bridge that could see both sides settle for a draw.

"This is a real tough one and an intriguing clash near the top of the table," the ex-United striker told Betfair as cited by Mirror UK.

"Chelsea are playing good football and United continue to have ups and downs so I think this could be too close to call which is why I'm going for a draw," he added.

A win over United will see Chelsea leapfrog West Ham to fourth, while a favourable result for Ole's men will help them keep their slim title hopes alive.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Thomas Tuchel will have an otherwise fully fit squad to select from when Chelsea tackle Man United at Stamford Bridge.

Thiago Silva is the only player not available for selection, with the veteran defender nursing a thigh injury.

Jorginho and Mason Mount are expected to drop to the bench during the clash, with Ben Chilwell, N'Golo Kante and Kai Havertz starting.

Olivier Giroud's Champions League heroics vs Atletico are expected to earn him a role upfront to lead the goal hunt alongside Timo Werner.
