Steven Alzate's second half goal gave the visitors their first win over Liverpool in 39 years thereby pilling serious pressure on the Reds' boss, Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool have not been impressive this term in the Premier League and the Reds have even lost two games at home ahead of their big battle against Manchester City.
They are currently occupying fourth position on the Premier League table with 40 points and they are seven points behind Pep Guardiola's side.
According to the report on UK Sun, Robertson stated clearly that he and his teammates need to start getting good results going forward this term in the Premier League.
Since breaking into Liverpool's first team in 2017, Andrew Robertson has been able to score four goals.
“As this moment stands, we’re not in the title race. We are seven points behind them and they have a game in hand.''
Meanwhile, Liverpool will be facing Manchester City in their next Premier League game which will be another tough battle for Jurgen Klopp and his men.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp decried their home loss against Brighton in the Premier League on Wednesday night, February 3.
Steven Alzate found the back of the net in the 56th minute after a mix-up by the Liverpool defence handing the reigning kings yet another defeat.
Klopp also pointed to the recent form of Brighton, who have now picked up 10 points from their last four games and registered back-to-back scalps with this win following another over Tottenham by the same scoreline last Sunday.
It will now remain a long second-half of the season for the Mersey side as they have confirmed that Joel Matip has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign due to an ankle ligament injury.
