Leicester City star Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Wilfred Ndidi's injury was a minor one and expects the midfielder to return within 10 days.
The 24-year-old only lasted 42 minutes in the Foxes' 1-1 draw against Everton during their midweek Premier League fixture and was replaced by Papy Mendy as reported by Goal.
And an extended diagnosis reveals that the midfielder picked up a minor hamstring injury in the Premier League game.

The former Liverpool handler while addressing the press ahead of Sunday's game against Fulham at the King Power Stadium said:
"It’s just a slight tear [for Ndidi]. He will be [out for] a week to 10 days, which is unfortunate. But sometimes hamstrings can be much longer than that."
Ndidi will miss matches against Leeds United and Fulham but could be back in time for their meeting against Wolverhampton Wanderers on February 7.
Meanwhile, this is the second time the Super Eagles midfielder will be out of action this campaign due to injury.
He had a tear in the abductor's muscle on September 20 and was out for 42 days missing eight of their games in the process. However, this is not expected to be this long.
The former Genk star has scored once in 11 Premier League appearances for the East Midlanders so far this season.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Wilfred Ndidi was substituted during Leicester City's 1-1 draw with Everton at Goodison Park in a mid-week Premier League fixture, Goal.
The defensive midfielder was struggling with the game after getting a knock and was replaced by Papy Mendy.
Ndidi went under the knife in the early parts of the season and missed 12 weeks of action before returning back into the team in November.
