According to the report on Daily Mail, Brazilian government are against any gathering that could increase the numbers the COVID-19 patients in the country.
State prosecutors said Neymar has been asked to provide details about the number of people invited for his New Year party celebration.
Day Crespo who is Neymar's media man explained that the Paris-Saint-Germain star is not holding any party in his house.
''It has nothing to do with Neymar. We have no information about such an event. We are in the middle of a pandemic and he is with his friends and family.''

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Barcelona legend Lionel Messi could be making a mega million move to French champion Paris-Saint-Germain at the end of the ongoing League season in Europe.
And that will be if Paris-Saint-Germain should appoint Argentine gaffer Mauricio Pochettino as their next after recently sacked Tuchel.
12 months after he was fired at Premier League side Tottenham, Pochettino is now set to be given the chance to return to management at Paris-Saint-Germain.
Messi can leave Barcelona for free at the end of the season, and is widely expected to call time on his career at the Nou Camp following a fractious summer.
The Argentina international wanted to leave Barcelona before the start of the new season due to the disappointing term the Catalans had.
Barcelona also crashed out of the Champions League suffering an embarrassing defeat against Bayern Munich who went on to beat Paris-Saint-Germain in the final.
