Diego Maradona's former agent Walter Soriano has revealed how the Argentine football great could have managed in the Premier League after been linked with Aston Villa.
Despite his superb skills and goal-scoring sense, Diego Maradona never played or managed in the Premier League throughout his lifetime.
The former Barcelona striker died last week Wednesday after suffering heart attack and has been buried in a private ceremony in Argentina.
According to the report on Sun, Walter Soriano claimed then that Diego Maradona was very attracted to the English football.
"Maradona is very attracted to English football and the way of life in your country and I know he would be very willing to move there.
"He loves the English countryside and your respect for privacy, so he would be very happy there, especially at a big club like Aston Villa.
"Diego is currently talking with a number of clubs in Europe - including another one in England - about a management role and is looking at his options carefully."
